Life has been a little hazardous
for Lincoln lately . . .

Exhibit A

Lincoln has a bruise on his ear that he got from pulling a bar stool on himself (this picture is about two weeks after the incident) and a cut on his face - not really sure how that one happened.

Lincoln cut his thumb while carrying car keys around at church.

It is so hard to protect this curious little guy. I know this is only the beginning of many cuts and bruises for him.

When you are a mom, everyday is different. Lincoln surprises me with all the new things he is learning and doing. He is so amazing! He is the best little buddy a girl could as for and I feel so lucky he is mine. The funny thing about being a mom is that it is the best thing ever, but at the same time it is so exhausting. At moments I think to myself "I really need a break or a day off." Even though this kiddo can drive me nuts, I love him so much. One thing that is always the same everyday is Lincoln's bedtime routine. I may be tired from chasing my baby around all day long, but as soon as I put him to bed I miss him and I want to start the day all over again.

I really feel like I have been blessed with the happiest baby on this earth. All you have to do is glance his way and he will give you a big grin.

Here are a few snapshots of our townhouse! Our offer was accepted today and we are so excited to call this place our home for the next 4 years while Mark is attending dental school. If the inspection, appraisal, and loan all go well, then we close on April 15th!

This kiddo is pretty spoiled, but I would do just about anything to keep him occupied during our road trip back from Utah. We forgot his DVD player, so I had to sacrifice my Ipad. He LOVED it!

20/20

So Mark recently decided since he is going to be a dentist and all, that he needed to have better vision. Today he got Lasik! We can already tell that the surgery was a great success since Mark is seeing better already! I must admit, I am really going to miss his glasses - they looked so handsome on him, but I am excited for the ease this will bring to his future career and life in general.

like I said, those glasses are going to be missed. i really love them on him!

Spaghetti

The little Linc Bug tried spaghetti for the very first time tonight. It was a success, but really the kid will eat anything except for bananas and cottage cheese. I took a few pictures to document the little guy chowing down on Momma's cooking!
